A & M Marine is a full service marine repair facility conveniently located at the Tahoe City Marina. We repair all makes of boats and watercraft. From wood boats, old and new, ski boats, runabouts, yachts, high performance & offshore boats, sail boats, jet skis, fishing boats or whatever you have, we can meet all of your services needs.

Our two head technicians each have more than 25 years of experience in the marine industry. We are factory-trained and certified by Volvo Penta, Indmar, Malibu, Polaris OMC and more. We are current in fuel injection, throttle by wire, shift by wire and all new boat technology. Our technicians have been maintaining the Tahoe City Marina’s large harbor of boats smoothly for the last 10 years. We are experienced in rigging and prepping new boats from 18 to 50 feet in length. We can do whatever you want!

We can install any accessory you want, including, but not limited to, ski towers with speakers and lights, stereos with amps and subwoofers, heaters, showers, dual batteries, fishing rod holders, depth finders and slime pumps. Our full service department can take care of all of your need, including your running gear, oil change, tune ups, drive service, impellers and full engine rebuilds.

We are the high altitude specialists. Lake Tahoe is more than 6,000 feet in elevation. At this elevation, there is about 20% less oxygen in the air and your boat doesn’t like this. You lose about 20% of your boat’s power as a result of the decreased oxygen in the air and you must adjust your engine and drive train to the lower horsepower and less oxygen. We can get your boat to jump up and go.

When you do nothing, you will be “bogging” your engine down and burning a lot of fuel, which can result in major engine failure. The worst part is your boat will be slow. If you cannot deal with the 20% loss, we can tune your engine a little and get it back! We have done it all.
